Michael’s Poetry

Michael Fielding Garber Sunday, 30 September 2007

Poetry is a wonderful medium to communicate thoughts and ideas. My time at Secondary School was particularly productive with the experiences of growing up ripe in the teenage years.

Many of my poems have been inspired by the ever-changing and most amazing British weather. One of my “weather poems” is shared below, and hopefully in due course will be accompanied by others!

Secrets of the Wind

Whisper to me, whistle to me, tell me your thoughts within. Whoosh around me, wash over me, talk to me again.

Tell me, enchant me, I will always listen. Speak to me in your sweet, sensational air.

You can tell me, I will not tell your secrets to any other. I will keep them, dwell on them, remember them.
